| looking to build a track - would like some plan ideas..... we really like the way the mo. track runs compared to others we been on at shows.... i think we have most supplies avail. here but i dont have any plans or blueprints to go by or a track itself - you dont get time to study one at a show to really see how one sets up.... can anyone help with this? | |

| well this is not the first post i made for some ideas on a track - all i ever got was one reply to look at pics and it doesnt show enough to just go with that,... i guess all those pullers or club people out there just dont want to share...? | |

| i guess so??...lol maybe its just they are worried about the compitition? we do well with our dogs without a track so if we had one then we would be unbeatable in this area!...lol | |

| the first track aint mine its the pic i sent the dude and i said "build it like this" but he dident listen to me i have some pics of mine somewhere in my photobucket the "flaw pics" are of the track i have right now im not going to buy it im gonna build my own i told the guy i wanted 32ft long he built it 27feet the iron dosent line up it just dosent float my boat ya know
im gonna build my own track in the spring i will take lots of pics its not gonna be welded its gonna be 4x4's and 2x4's and sub flooring with a roof over it and walls and heat lamps and a treadmill its gonna be a nice doggie gym | |

no not 4k thats crazy mine was only 300$ of steel shop around for casters if u can get the casters that hold 3000lbs each they will last 4ever the track should be under 1,000$ easy do u want an all steel track to take to shows or a wood one to put in ur yard? | |

well if u want it to roll like butter u will have to spend some good money on casters and make shure the angle iron is straight and lines up nice with no gaps or bumps and put some lube on the rails right b4 u pull i used some gun oil but wd40 would prolly work too | |

| hey wssh if you want the plans for the track or picture ill e-mail them to you i know it should cost you about 1000 bucks. i would make it a little lighter if it was me and use lighter weight metal u know this one is very heavy. i mean i can move it myself but its a real chore | |
