Florida, APA weightpull tomorrow

There is an APA (American Pulling Alliance) weightpull tomorrow. APA pulls are open to all breeds and mixes. The dog does not need to be registered to compete.

This is a sanctioned event, titles can be earned, and medals will be awarded for top placement in each weight class. Trophys will be awarded for most weight pulled.

Novice (non-competition) dogs can pull for $5.
Dogs (1yr or older) can compete for $15.

Weigh-in is from 7am till 9am. Pulling starts at 10am.
This competition is being held indoors at the Sumter County Fairgrounds.

There were only about 15 dogs that competed today, so there are only a couple dogs in each weight class. Even new dogs have a good chance to place and title.

OOOhhh... I'm far away in WI but take some pics for us! I have often thought after some training of getting my dogs into APA (since they are mixes).

Sounds like a blast....We have APA pulls here too but they are usually huge, so I don't think it would be a place to practice. Get some pics and let us know how you do...
