Of hiking of course!
Arnold and his Daddy Bunk
The first pool we found
All those black dots are tad poles, bout a zillion in the pools
Movin on
Climbing up, we had to help the dogs with this one
The small portion of shade!
Look ma! a pool!
We took off the packs and went down for a swim (for the dogs)
Time to swim!
Fetch!
This must have felt soooo good, it was a good 100+ degrees out and he was carrying 4 liters of water in his pack for about 2 miles to get there, climbing, jumping, etc
Mess of sticks? what barrier of sticks?
The LV strip (hazy day)
I believe I can flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lol
Ready to head back?
Exhausted!
Well we all came back a bit weaker.. Hannah broke a nail and tore a pad, Arnold got some pretty nasty burns from running in hot sand and I rolled my ankle.. by far not our healthiest return on a hike but we're alive and kickin, the dogs ate and crashed. They're having a bit of trouble walking but not much, just can tell its not pain free, they'll sleep it off though. I'm leaving for the weekend then back to work and school next week, bye bye open schedule summer :'(
