| Greetings one and all!!
I would like to know if any Dog men on here has heard of, is familiar with or knew of a "CJ". Possibly of CJ Kennels? I have several dogs that hail from CJ this or CJ that and have seen many pedigrees that have CJ in their linage. I have spoken to Dynasty Kennel in South Florida and they knew of CJ and offered that many of his dogs were of Woods origin. Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

| Well the best way to start would be to post up the pedigree, or atleast up to the 4th gen. pedigree for the dog, you can build it on www.sitstay.com for free or http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/ but it'll cost ya 30 a year to run online peds. If you can get that 4 gen up here, I'll be glad to build your ped on online peds. Or even the first 2 I can try to do it off of. | |

There are a ton of CJ's dogs in the system. So maybe even having just the parents names would help me out lol

| Thanks Schismatic & Bingo for your responses. The links you have provided will enable me to do my own homework with respect to my dogs CJ lineage. To answer your question Schimatic, One of my males hails from CJ Blue Rhino, CJ Natas Von Hogslayer and CJ Ready Von Hogslayer. With more Woods farther back. I still am curious as to who CJ was. It is apparent that he / she no longer breeds Pit Bulls and if the info I was able to glean from Google searches that he / she was based here in Florida and then moved to Arizona or New Mexico when he /she brought his / her operation to a halt. I sure would like some history on this. | |

Hello,I am a previous owner of a male red/red nose from CJ's Medussa Von Hogslayer. My male just recently passed away after 12 1/2 years.Back then CJ's kennel was located in Lox/Royal Palm Beach. The owners name was Jeffery Schwartzman.I have been looking myself, and through research spoke with Mark McKenna,McKenna Kennels, who knew Jeff(CJ),and told me he passed away from some terminal illness.

| Ok , after much research I have revealed the following:
CJ Kennel (Jeffery Schwartzman) worked with three different lines of dogs. The "Rhino" and "Von" lines were primarily from Marsha Woods dogs and hence Ruffian. It appears that near the end of his venture, he was working with only Ruffian stock. This discovery technically makes many of my dogs Ruffian and therefor AmStaff (ok by me given the dilution of many true Pit bloodline with God knows what) This is not a bloodline bash, but all of you true Pit People know what I'm saying. In fact, with the exception of my Mcaw female, I will begin to focus and promote Ruffian. I just love the look of a Ruffian dog!
