| My choice is obviously chains but I do have 2 - 10'X20' kennels that I use for pups or for when I need to put a dog in there. I'll let a dog come in the house from time to time but they prefer being outside. My chains range from 15' (the shortest I'll go) to 30'. | |

| My dogs are always in the house. Toby freaks out on the chains because of the life he had before us. So it was never something I pressed with him. He is also kennel trained and sleeps in there at night. ( I don't lock him up unless hes been in trouble) So he sleeps in there on his own. Hes not allowed to sleep on our bed because his skin flakes give me a rash. But its something that I just deal with, Because I couldn't imagine life without my Mr. Toby man! | |

| Where I live i dont have to worry about someone mess'n around. People around here know me and my family and know better than to try anything . But then again we aint in the city or anything like that so there's not too much to worry about out here. | |

Must be nice..LOL Yeah I like it. But what sucks is when the dogs go nuts tryin to get an Armadillo or something like that off in the distance lol. I moved around all the houses today and straightened things up a bit. I'll post some updated pics tommorow of "the yard". | |

| I would like to be able to just turn my dogs loose all the time, but that is out of the question. I use to, but too many people have moved out here. I keep my dogs on a chain. They are never allowed in the house. I have a 15x30ish pen I let them run in. I would keep them all in the pen at times, but the rot-chow wants to dominate and pushes too far. The pits are very content to let her be boss, but she wants to be too pushy. My female pit (Dixie) will only take so much. I ain't sure who would win and I do not intend to find out. They are both tuff. My blond male cocker spaniel and male pit get along just fine with the other 2 family members. | |

| Mine are out in a kennel. Come out to play for some time in the morning, afternoon, and evening. My girl used to come in the house every night, but not lately. I have to reintroduce her to our little chihuahua/terrier mix. | |

| Our doggies are house dogs...there seems to be a lot of pitbull thefts out here...especially of puppies. My pups sleep in the kennel at night but have free roam of the house and yard if they choose. | |

| Some stay in their own yard, it is about 1000 sq ft. with a shed as the dog house. The young dogs and toy breeds stay in the house and have free roam of the rest of the property, supervised of course. I also have kennels in the house for feeding time, when no one is home and bed time...

| Well I chose chains and here's why... http://www.nopitbullbans.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/cornell_study_on_te_1cf54f6.pdf Not because of the study... hell I knew that all along, it IS the safest way to contain a APBT which can dig out, go over, or through a chain link fence | |
