| I am posting this in every dog forum I am a member of, so some of you may see it more than once. I just hope someone can help.
I have never had a dog that would fetch anything. I have a Wiemaraner puppy [7 months old] that will not offer to go get nothing.
How can I get my dogs to fetch, anything?

| I don't really have advice, but... my dogs would not fetch anything till they were about year 1/2. Then out of the blue they started. The one and only thing either will fetch is a rope. They will play and chew up balls, but if you throw it.. ha.. they sit with it to destroy it. Grab a rope and they will fetch all day long! I didn't teach them.. one day Harley just brought it back to me and Sasha saw him do it and that's how the story goes... | |

| it does seem to help if they watch another one - that also worked with introducing weight pull to a pup/young dog.... | |
