Well I am new to the forum and just wanted to say hi and introduce myself!!!!
My name is Ryan I am 21 and live in a hole of a county in Florida lol!!!!!!
I been into pit-bulls since I was a kid(still considered one i suppose)
I first saw one when I was a kid and went to an animal shelter with a child hood friends dad
When I moved here to florida about 7-8 yrs ago i made a friend who had one and since then it was my dream to own one!!!! I did for a few weeks and found out that the previous owners were using her for a fighting dog which ended up having to put her down cause of the attacks on other family dogs!!!! Not to mention my dad and step mom said they were not ganna own one ever again and said if i brought one home me and the dog would be on the street, even with all the research and statistics i could never convince them..... Not until i had moved out and got a female red puppy... My dad still hated them and said its only cause shes a puppy that shes nice.... Then I had gotten a my male Tader (who passed in july) then they really started to love them and saw them for what they are!!!!! now they are considering getting one for themselves and are trying to be active in the pit community!!!!
