| I just picked up a female today. Her mother is about 75% Mayfield. Does anyone know anything about the mayfield blood? I know what the rest of her ped is....
Mother is 75% Mayfield 25% Sorrell Father is off of Caldwell's Dragon, which is off of Rodrigeuz Ch "Gator" and the father's mother is all Crenshaw stuff. Up very close.

| aggression problems? Let me guess you have ukc dogs? Game bred dogs are the only way to go. There is a standard with these dogs and if you dont agree with it then the akc people will welcome you with open arms. And just for the record the breeding sounds like a 3 way cross which is pretty awesome if you do your homework you will realize it. | |

Oh no like I said i'm not getting into this lets just say I know the line and have been around many Mayfield dogs and just dont like their temperment have seen plenty of man biters from mayfield stuff. Jeep and Sorrels is good but the Mayfield is all I dont like. I can tell you I've talked to R.Kershner and to many other of Don's other Drones the things he spouts to these people are ingnorant. sorry my mentor is a dogger that knows all about these boys and their lines been into the dogs for 40 years or longer. He has told me many things about them and i have also witnessed them myself/

| I'm just a independent in this, not bias one way or another towards any particular line, but it's unfair to say a particular line is human aggressive or otherwise "ESPECIALLY IN GAME DOGS", that's not a trait that's bred by true breeders of performance dogs. I can find a biter among any strain of dogs it happens from time to time, not a desirable trait but it can and does happen. The mayfield line of dogs are good dogs, but as with anything you need to know your breeder and know his dogs because one man's breeding preference isn't the same as another man's. I would say your pup should be intelligent just from the background of what i know here being 75% mayfield & 25% Sorrells. | |

| This is a debate on another forum as well. I would have to agree with Ant's (Alfisher) statement. Me personally, I have no use for a manbiter. But other's use them in their breeding programs, that is their choice and I am sure they have their reasons. I am not as experienced as others when it comes to bloodlines, but I don't see it as a particular bloodline thorowing manbiters. It just happens..JMO... | |

| Hey everyone... sorry it took me so long to get back on here... Here is a copy of her 4 generation pedigree. I have personally walked up on the dam of the pup without the owner and all she did was want to play and lick me. She has no aggression is actually running around with her 3 pups and adult female. So i'm not worried about any aggression. Amanda you are def right, About the fact that I like my dogs being able to run around together. That is one of my things. I like for the dogs to get along with my dogs, not meaning any neighborhood dog, but my dogs. I've been successful in doing that to this point. Here are a couple pics of the pup and the sire and the dam. Pedigree for Mooser's "Red Dragonette" Chocolate Red Nose
