I just moved from VA to Louisiana and found out the hard way that the soil and weather in this region is very very wet! In the Back yard, when it rains it floods and I had to elevate the kennel on a wood floor with treated lumber. Here it is, we used red cedar chips to keep the flees and smell down and too alos help with cleaning.

Mason looks great! Very nice set up! I assume you have support out in the center under it.

One thing I would be concerned about. Kennel fights. Nick's daddy and an american bulldog got into a fight through the fence like that and the poor AB didn't make it. It was when the owner was gone. You may want to put up a 1/2" thick plywood wall to keep them separate. Just an idea in case you hadn't thought of it.

Like I said though.......NICE JOB!

Thanks! I thought about putting up a plywood wall and may still do it specifically to stop any accidents.
