mine are on chains, except snow she is a house dog, and roams when I am outside cause she knows when we tell her boundries she wont pass them. I wont dare leave her alone outside though. Out of fear she would disappear

i only have Midis Victor and Kuckles, Midis has to keep them in check lol but other then that they have more free roam of the back yard and the house (they have a BIG doggie door) lol but when im not home or not there Victor and Knuckles are in there kennels... Midis (oldest) gets free roam all the time!

I chose house. My dogs are crated when I'm not at home. When I am at home I crate and rotate. They also have chain set ups for when they are outside.
