| I thought this puppy was very interesting. His Mama is a white German Shepherd, and his Dad is ???. At 8 weeks old he is huge! They call him Camo, which suits him. He is almost green in color! | |

| This is my first Doberman. I have had two Pit Bulls, and many other mixed breeds. I have to say I can already see she is much different. I still love my pits, and have not given up looking for one, but this little Dobie sure does have a lot of character! | |

| I've never owned a doberman, but my boyfriend's Dad won't own anything except a Doberman. | |

| i adopted a doberman in the past and he was prolly one of the best dogs i ever had - super smart and easy trainers..... not near as hard headed-stubborn as a bulldog.... i would love a chance to own another someday | |

| I've had Sasha about a week, she'll be 9wks. old Sunday. I just started teaching her "come" and "sit". She has that pretty well down pat. I think Pit Bulls are much smarter than they are given credit for. Like you said, they are just hard headed. It amazes me how so many characteristics are common throughout a breed. | |

| I've actually just got my first doberman pup as well, he's 5mth and already about twice the height of most pit bulls I've ever owned, I'll be a pit bull lover for life, but I think I'll enjoy the challenge of owning/raising this doberman as well. | |

| Maybe we can compare notes. Since you are a little ahead of me, you can tell me what to expect!
I think she will be a lot of fun. | |

| I've been back and forth on this, but I think I'll have them cropped. I was always against it in the past, but after dealing with several dog's ear problems, I think it might be a good idea. | |

| I never thought about the humidity causing the problem, but it is VERY humid here. I had a Springer Spaniel who had bad problems with her ears. The Pit in my avatar had severe ear mites. We were constantly doctoring on her. | |
