| Right now, my female weighs 43 pounds. She's fairly slim and looks good but I plan on breeding her in the spring and would like to get some extra weight on her before, what are some good foods to put weight on? | |

| To put weight on you need a high in fat food like a 20% fat would exactly say the protein had to be high since to much protien is bad for their kidneys. The dog food i'm feeding right now is 23/20 and its been putting alot of weight on my dogs. | |

| Well if your already feeding a good feed, just increase the amount your giving the dog. But realistically genetics are about 90% of a dogs physical make-up, if the dog come from good genetics they will honestly maintain and develop a nice muscular body just from normal feeding and moderate exercise. | |
